Current Funding

EgonCoin may receive revenue from programmatic advertising delivered through Google AdSense.

This revenue may support website operation, publishing and editorial costs. The amount of revenue, traffic or audience size is not publicly claimed unless documented data is made available.

The description of funding is limited to the format already identified as active. It does not imply direct advertiser relationships, investment backing or other revenue sources that have not been established.

Commercial Formats Not Currently Confirmed

The following are not currently identified as active standard revenue formats:

• Direct advertising campaigns
• Paid company profiles
• Sponsored articles or partner content
• Affiliate links or affiliate commissions
• Paid subscriptions
• Membership programs
• Reader donations
• Investor funding or venture-capital financing

If a material revenue source is introduced, this page and related commercial policies should be updated.

Stating that a format is not active prevents a policy page or contact address from being mistaken for evidence that the service is currently offered.

Editorial Independence

Revenue relationships do not provide advertisers or partners with control over:

• Editorial assignments
• Headlines
• News conclusions
• Reviews and scores
• Ranking positions
• Corrections
• Publication, update or removal decisions

Paid visibility does not determine editorial ranking position.

Independence does not require the absence of revenue. It requires that revenue sources do not determine factual conclusions, silence justified criticism or alter the standards used for reviews and corrections.

Advertising Separation

Programmatic advertising may appear near editorial content, but the presence of an advertisement does not constitute editorial endorsement.

Advertising concerns are reviewed separately from editorial correction requests. An advertiser cannot purchase a correction or prevent accurate coverage.

Sponsored Content and Affiliate Relationships

EgonCoin does not currently use sponsored content as a standard publishing format. The Sponsored Content Policy describes the standards that would apply if the format is introduced.

EgonCoin does not currently use affiliate marketing as an active revenue model. If affiliate links are introduced, relevant relationships should be disclosed and must not determine editorial conclusions.

Personal and Editorial Conflicts

Editors and contributors should disclose material financial, professional or personal interests relevant to their coverage.

Ownership of the publication does not remove the obligation to distinguish reporting, opinion, advertising and personal interests.

A relevant interest should be considered in relation to the subject and the contributor’s role. Transparency is intended to help readers evaluate context, not to create unsupported assumptions about a conflict.
