Editorial Responsibility

EgonCoin’s editors are responsible for story selection, research, source review, fact-checking, writing, editing, headlines, publication decisions and corrections.

Editors follow EgonCoin’s Editorial Policy, Fact-Checking Policy, Corrections Policy, Ethics Policy and Unnamed Sources Policy. AI-related standards are stated in the Editorial Policy and Ethics Policy.

Responsibility includes ensuring that published work follows the same standards regardless of subject, company visibility or commercial interest. Named responsibility also gives readers a clear route to evaluate authorship and raise factual concerns.

External Experts and Contributors

EgonCoin may seek input from developers, economists, researchers, security professionals, compliance specialists, legal experts, product users or other knowledgeable sources when a topic requires additional context.

External comments should be relevant, appropriately attributed and reviewed for possible conflicts of interest. An expert’s opinion does not automatically represent EgonCoin’s editorial position.

Providing a comment, document or interview does not automatically make a person a member of the EgonCoin team.

External input may strengthen an article by adding technical or contextual knowledge, but it does not transfer editorial responsibility away from EgonCoin. Commentary remains subject to attribution, relevance and review for conflicts or limitations.

Conflicts and Disclosures

Editors and contributors should disclose material financial, professional or personal interests relevant to their coverage.

A relevant conflict may require reassignment, additional review or an article-level disclosure. Editors must not use unpublished editorial information for trading, market manipulation or personal financial advantage.

A disclosure is intended to help readers evaluate the relationship between a contributor and the subject. It does not automatically disqualify a person from contributing, but it may affect assignment, review or the context provided to readers.

Human Control and AI

EgonCoin does not use AI to write, draft, rewrite, summarize, translate, research, fact-check, select sources, prepare metadata or descriptions, assign tags or categories, create author biographies, or make editorial decisions.

AI tools may be used only to create, prepare or edit illustrations and other visual materials; they are not used to produce editorial text or editorial metadata.

Editorial responsibility for published names, claims, quotations, conclusions and corrections remains with EgonCoin’s named editors.
