EgonCoin is an independent English-language publication covering cryptocurrency markets, blockchain infrastructure and digital-asset products for readers in the United States. Our reporting also follows international developments when they affect US readers, global cryptocurrency markets, product availability, regulation, security or the operation of blockchain networks.
EgonCoin exists to help readers understand cryptocurrency through clear, source-based and editorially responsible publishing. We aim to explain what happened, why it matters, which evidence supports the available claims and what remains uncertain.

Our Mission
Cryptocurrency sits at the intersection of finance, software, infrastructure, regulation, consumer technology and security. Important developments are often communicated through technical documentation, company statements, regulatory notices, blockchain records, market data and promotional claims that may be difficult to evaluate without context.
EgonCoin’s mission is to make those developments easier to understand without reducing complex issues to slogans or price speculation. We seek to identify the facts that matter, explain the mechanics behind a product or market event and distinguish observable evidence from marketing language, opinion or prediction.
Our articles are intended to help readers ask better questions. That may include understanding who controls a product, how a token supply can change, what fees or restrictions apply, how custody works, what a regulatory action actually says or what evidence exists after a security incident.
The value of this approach is not limited to explaining terminology. This audience range affects how articles are written. Basic concepts should be explained without making experienced readers work through unnecessary simplification, while technical or market detail should be presented with enough context for less familiar readers to understand why it matters.
Our Editorial Approach
EgonCoin prefers named, primary and directly reviewable sources where reasonably available. Depending on the article, these may include official documents, regulatory records, blockchain data, technical documentation, public code repositories, exchange notices, fee schedules, market data and attributable expert commentary.
Company announcements, protocol statements and press releases may be relevant sources, but they are attributed and are not automatically treated as independently verified facts. Claims involving adoption, security, reserves, performance, yield or partnerships may require additional support.
Anonymous sources are not part of our routine publishing process. EgonCoin uses unnamed sources rarely and only when the information has meaningful public-interest value, the source is known to the responsible editor, the source faces a credible risk and the information can be reviewed or corroborated where possible.
Source quality is considered in relation to the claim being made. A technical document may be useful for describing how a product is intended to work, while market, legal or security conclusions may require different evidence and clearer acknowledgment of limitations.
Our History
EgonCoin traces its editorial history to 2017, with a continuing focus on cryptocurrency, blockchain technology and digital-asset markets.
Full editorial publishing resumed in 2026 with clearer sourcing, fact-checking, corrections and transparency standards. The renewed publication retains EgonCoin’s market-first focus while placing greater emphasis on source quality, reader trust and the separation of editorial work from advertising.
The 2026 activity represents a renewal of EgonCoin’s publishing work rather than the founding of an unrelated new publication. This history should not be interpreted as a claim that EgonCoin published every day or without interruption from 2017 to the present.
Older branding, channels, accounts or similarly named projects should not automatically be treated as current official EgonCoin assets unless they are verified and identified by the publication.
Ownership and Editorial Leadership
EgonCoin is independently owned and published by Catheryne Nicholson. She is the publication’s founder, owner, publisher and principal editorial lead.
Guido Molinari serves as an editor and core editorial contributor.
EgonCoin does not currently identify a corporate parent, holding company, institutional investor, venture-capital owner or acquisition relationship. Ownership and funding information is published separately so readers can understand the publication’s commercial structure.
Editorial Independence
EgonCoin may display programmatic advertising through Google AdSense. Advertising revenue may support publication costs, but advertisers do not determine which topics receive coverage, how articles are written, how products are reviewed, how rankings are ordered or how corrections are handled.
Paid visibility does not determine editorial ranking position. Companies cannot purchase a favorable review, positive conclusion, higher score or correction outcome.
EgonCoin does not currently use sponsored content as a standard publishing format. EgonCoin does not currently use affiliate marketing as an active revenue model. If those practices are introduced, the relevant policies and disclosures should be updated before or when they become active.
This separation protects readers from confusing commercial visibility with editorial judgment. The presence of an advertisement, company name or promoted product does not change the evidence required for independent coverage.
AI and Human Editorial Control
EgonCoin does not use artificial intelligence to draft editorial articles, translate editorial content, create article summaries, monitor sources autonomously or make publication decisions.
AI may occasionally be used to create clearly non-documentary illustrations. Such illustrations must not be presented as photographic evidence or as proof that a real event occurred.
Human editors remain responsible for source selection, verification, writing, editing, headlines, conclusions, corrections and publication decisions. AI must not be used to fabricate sources, quotations, people, credentials, documents or evidence.
