This methodology explains how EgonCoin may evaluate and compare cryptocurrency exchanges, software and hardware wallets, custody services, payment products, blockchain networks, DeFi platforms, staking services, developer tools, infrastructure providers, analytics services and related products.
The exact criteria may differ by category, but the same principles of evidence, relevance, transparency and editorial independence apply.
Editorial Independence
Reviews, scores and ranking positions are determined through editorial criteria rather than advertising payments.
Paid visibility does not determine editorial ranking position.
Companies cannot purchase a positive review, favorable conclusion, higher score, ranking placement or correction outcome.
Editorial independence applies to inclusion as well as ordering. Payment does not create an automatic right to appear in a comparison, remain in a ranking or receive a particular conclusion.

An audit, bug bounty or security certification does not guarantee that a product cannot fail or be exploited.

EgonCoin does not currently identify affiliate links as an active revenue model. EgonCoin does not currently use sponsored content as a standard publishing format.
