Gate's Worlds challenge splits stage vouchers from cumulative Rift Power rankings and separate bonus prizes. Order timestamps, volume thresholds and voucher limits decide which rewards a completed trade can qualify for.

An order's placement time determines which tournament-stage window receives its volume. That timestamp can matter as much as the trade itself: Gate's Rift Summit Prediction Challenge uses separate clocks and eligibility rules for its rewards.

Gate launched the contest on October 14, 2026, for the League of Legends World Championship S16. It runs from 16:00 UTC+8 on October 14 to 16:00 UTC+8 on November 15. Users trade designated Worlds event markets in the Gate app. They can predict single-match winners or series scores, follow teams advancing to the next round, and pick the eventual champion. PANews describes four distinct prediction formats within the event, rather than one activity ranking, in its October 14 report.

Gate's announcement, dated October 14, 2026, UTC, sets out four parallel reward tracks. One is the Worlds First Prediction Reward. Another covers tournament-stage trading. Rift Power has its own leaderboard, and Extra Rift Rewards make up a separate track. A Gate Rank analysis examined how a ranking can show one kind of activity without establishing another. Here, the distinction is what each event counter actually measures.

Stage vouchers reset by window.

Tournament Stage Rewards use four independent volume windows. Play-In runs from October 14, 2026, at 08:00 to October 18 at 22:00 UTC. Swiss runs from October 18 at 22:00 to November 1 at 04:00. Knockout runs from November 1 at 04:00 to November 9 at 04:00. Grand Final runs from November 9 at 04:00 to November 15 at 08:00. These windows cover Play-In, Swiss Stage, Knockout Stage and Finals. In each window, the volume thresholds are 2,000, 10,000, 50,000 and 200,000 USDT. The corresponding Prediction Markets Vouchers are worth 5, 10, 50 and 100 USDT. Only the highest tier reached pays for that stage.

Stage attribution follows the order's placement time, not the tournament segment named in a market title. Gate's example is a Grand Finals market order placed on October 23, 2026: its volume counts toward the Swiss Stage window. A new stage window resets the volume count. It does not erase Rift Power Points.

Rift Power accumulates across the full event. To qualify for a leaderboard tier, a participant must rank in the top 100 and meet that tier's minimum-points requirement. A top-100 rank alone is not enough. Valid volume means Yes Buy Volume plus No Buy Volume plus Secondary-Market Sell Volume. The leaderboard divides a 30,000 USDT Worlds pool among 100 leaders, with 5,000 USDT allocated to the top-ranked participant. Undistributed amounts are not passed to lower-ranked participants or otherwise reallocated.

Those figures do not mean participants can withdraw the same amount in cash. Prediction Markets Voucher face value is not directly withdrawable; eligible markets, usage and validity are set out on the voucher page. The four stage rewards draw from a separate 50,000 USDT pool. Gate advertises total event rewards of up to 150,000 USDT. PANews also reports a 30,000 USDT Rift Power pool, a 10,000 USDT champion-prediction pool and a 10,000 USDT finals-loss-compensation pool. Separately, the Witness Reward offers 100 prizes of 100 USDT each to participants who take part across all four stages.

Bonus prizes carry their own conditions.

Extra Rift Rewards include three independent pools of 10,000 USDT each. For the Champion Predictor Prize Pool, participants need at least 100 USDT in cumulative volume before the champion market closes. They must hold the winning outcome through settlement and correctly predict the champion. Eligible users share the pool equally. Repeated purchases of the same champion outcome count as one entry.

Finals Night Prediction Compensation works differently. An eligible user must trade the designated finals-winner market and hold the position to settlement. If the prediction is wrong, the user receives a voucher equal to 20% of the actual net loss. The payout is capped at 20 USDT per user and limited to the first 1,000 users. Slots are assigned by trade completion time. The offer covers only part of a loss; it does not reimburse the full amount or protect principal.

The Full Journey Lucky Draw requires at least one valid prediction trade in each of Play-In, Swiss, Knockout and Final. Participants do not need to reach a stage-volume tier, but a stage without a valid trade breaks eligibility. The pool gives 100 users 100 USDT equivalent each; the event page sets the asset and format. These extra modules count only valid trades made after registration in designated League of Legends Worlds event markets. Trades in other event markets do not count.

Before placing an order, compare its expected placement time with the event-page window for the stage being pursued. Then confirm that it fills. An unfilled order does not count, including one canceled before it fills. Transfers and other non-trading movements are also excluded. Backend statistics follow the event rules, so a market's title does not move a trade into the corresponding tournament stage.

A participant pursuing several tracks needs to check the active stage threshold and the order-time window, then verify the volume definition and any extra-reward conditions. One valid fill may advance more than one task, but each reward page sets its own rules for stacking. The First Prediction Reward is separate. It is for first-time Gate Prediction Markets users who reach at least 200 USDT in cumulative volume across designated Worlds markets, among the first 4,000 eligible users. The first-activity reward is a 10 USDT trial reward.

A displayed rank or activity total does not guarantee eligibility. Participants must register before trading and use designated markets. Platform-flagged abnormal trades can invalidate eligibility, as can linked accounts or self-trading. Wash trading and fabricated trades are also grounds for disqualification. So are manipulation and exploiting vulnerabilities.

These mechanics distinguish event participation from ordinary cash compensation. A voucher's value depends on where and how it can be used, while a percentage-based loss voucher does not make a losing position whole. Prediction-market trades can still lose money even when they qualify for a reward.

Worlds event-market trading on Gate requires App version 8.39.0 or above. Market deadlines and settlement remain specific to each market page.
