For anyone trying to track, transfer, or even identify the XZXX meme token on Bitcoin, ownership is a moving target. Unlike tokens on Ethereum, XZXX doesn't use smart contracts to enforce balances. Instead, its existence and transfers are pieced together by off-chain indexers that read Bitcoin Ordinals inscriptions. As a result, a wallet showing "XZXX" might not match what a marketplace or another user sees, and a transfer that looks valid in one app could be invisible in another.

This setup brings real operational and security risks. The BRC-20 standard, which XZXX uses, relies on JSON data embedded in Bitcoin transactions.
