Privacy and Personal Data

This page explains what information we may receive through the site, why we use it and how readers can request changes or deletion where applicable.

Contact forms · technical logs · retention · reader rights

What data we collect

If you contact us through the form on the Contact page, we may receive your name, email address, subject line, message content and your confirmation that you consent to the processing of that message for editorial communication. If you email us directly, we receive the information you choose to send.

Why we use it

We use reader-submitted information to answer editorial questions, review correction requests, discuss partnerships, process feedback, handle privacy-related requests and respond to fact-check submissions. We do not ask readers for wallet keys, seed phrases or sensitive account credentials, and we will never request them by email.

Technical data

Like most websites, the site may generate technical logs through hosting and delivery systems, including IP-derived access data, browser and device information, page requests, timestamps and basic diagnostics used to keep the service secure and available. We use that information for site operation, abuse prevention and technical analysis, not for hidden profiling.

Retention and deletion

We keep contact-form submissions and email correspondence only for as long as needed to answer the request, maintain editorial records, document corrections or meet legal and security obligations. Readers can request an update or deletion of contact data by writing to info@egoncoin.com and, where relevant, yash@egoncoin.com.

How to reach us about privacy

For privacy questions, contact our editorial desk through the addresses listed above. Please include enough detail for us to identify the request and the message or interaction it relates to.
